Tanganyika Wilderness Camps -
Serengeti
Serengeti National Park should only be enjoyed for the
Luxury of a Mobile camp. Feel a part of the bush and experience
the incredible sounds and smells of the wild African bush.
The Exclusive Mobile Camps have four different locations during
the year according to the movement of the wildlife. Allowing
guests to be located close to the Migration. From December to
March one camp will be located in the southern plains, from May
to August the camp one in the central the central park and one
in the western corridor and from August to November in the
north, but the location might change depending on the movements
of the Migration. EMC offers the guest the perfect balance
between comfort, privacy and splendid isolation. Nine spacious
tents en suite and fully furnished with either King Size bed or
twin beds, en suite facilities, including flush toilet, wash
basin with running water and bucket shower inside.
Serengeti Kati is always situated in central Serengeti, the
standard is a bit more simple than EMC, and therefore has a
lower price, but the camp still have all the comfort you may
want and gives you good value for the money. |

ANG´ATA
CAMPS
Ang’ata Serengeti Camp
consists of 12 large and comfortable guest tents, a nice lounge
and a dining tent. Each Guest tent is individually solar powered
and contains a bedroom and en-suite bathroom with shower, a
dressing table with sink, and a flush toilet. Situated in the
central Serengeti in the Seronera area, Ang’ata Serengeti is
ideally situated for game drives in all directions throughout
the Serengeti all year-round.

You can
also choose to stay at Ang’ata Migration camp. From December
'till March Ang'ata Migration Camp is located with a view on Lake Ndutu.
Then it will move to Bolongoja in the northern Serengeti from
July to October allowing easy access to Mara region and Mara River
where you may get lucky and witness the famous Wildebeest
crossing.

Serengeti Simba Lodge,
west side, outside park
With awe-inspiring panoramic views
of the vast savannah, Serengeti Simba Lodge is home to prolific
birdlife and a stunning array of large game including: lion,
buffalo, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, elephant, bush buck, zebra,
gazelle, topi and wildebeest. The vast wildebeest migration
passes through the area twice a year on the annual trek through
the Serengeti eco-system.
There are fifteen uniquely designed tented
rooms. Each spacious room has solar generated hot water, a
en-suite stone bathroom with tub, shower and flush toilet as
well as an outdoor stone shower in complete privacy with hot and
cold water

Mbalageti, Serengeti
This charming lodge is located in the
Western corridor of Serengeti National Park. It is situated on
the Mwanmveni hill and offers a breathtaking panorama view of
the plains and the river. The lodge has standard rooms for the
budget traveler, luxury tented chalets and Executive suites for
the special occasion. They have a restaurant, bar, lounge loft,
tea garden, shops and a swimming pool made out of local rocks
and situated on the edge of the hill. |

Serena Lodge, Serengeti
The Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge is
the ultimate fusion of traditional African architecture and
world-class style. Drawing its inspiration from the circular
Rondavel dwellings and winding paths of a traditional Maasai
village, the lodge features thickly-thatched, stone-built rooms,
spaciously set amongst groves of indigenous trees that are
cooled by sparkling streams and papyrus-fringed ponds. The
lodge’s cuisine is focused on its use of fresh food that is
prepared and cooked in front of the guests.
The full-service lounge and bar serves fresh fruit juices, soft
drinks, tea and coffee, cocktails, wines, spirits and liqueurs.
There is a swimming pool positioned to make the most of the
expansive view.

Sopa Lodge
Looking out over the seemingly
endless Serengeti plains, this hillside lodge with a stunning
view over the Serengeti plains is a tranquil oasis. It has a
large restaurant, a comfortable bar and relaxing swimming-pool
area. The lodge can accommodate 170 guests in 79 suites, each
with a private lounge, a bedroom with two queen size beds and an
en-suite bathroom. |
