whERE TO STAY - western and southern circuit

SIWANDU Camp - Selous Southern Circuit
Situated in the largest protected wilderness reserve on the continent, the Selous Safari Camp compromises very nice luxury safari tents on the banks of the Rufiji River.

Here you can take guided walks, game viewing by boat or by car. Most often you fly in from Dar or Ruaha.

The staff are very friendly and the food good - note that the chef do not take responsibility for any weight gained during your stay!

The park is famous for its wild dogs and you will see many birds, elephants, crocodiles, hippos and much much more.

Jongomero Camp - Ruaha Southern Circuit
Jongomero Camp which is set under the shady acacia trees on the banks of the Jongomero River. It is in the remote south western area of the park which ensures privacy and you will feel very close to the nature at all times.

Here you will see a lot of birds and you have the chance to see the Kudu as well as a lot of other wild animals.

The lodge is very, very nice with luxury tents and friendly staff.

Selous Riverside Lodge
A personal and friendly service is part of our culture and we aim to provide you with every comfort during your stay at Selous Riverside Safari Camp. Selous Riverside Safari Camp consists of ten spacious luxury tented camps, out of which five tents offer 4 x 6 twin beds and the other five tents offer 6 x 6 single beds all with en-suite facilities, decorated beautifully in African style. All tents are en-suite and are luxuriously equipped with comfortable beds, electricity and their own private verandahs. To wash the dust off after your game drive, each tent provides an en-suite shower and toilet with all the pleasures of hot and cold running water.

Greystoke lodge, Mahale

The Mahale Mountains are home to one of the largest populations of chimpanzees in Africa. Each day, you'll be just feet away from them as they go about their daily lives, while they remain entirely indifferent to your presence.

Home at Greystoke Mahale is in exotic open-fronted rooms, looking out across the soft sand beach and crystal-clear water. The lake is mesmerising, the air scented and the living very easy indeed.

Greystoke Mahale has just 6 wood and thatch bandas set on the edge of the forest line at the base of the mountains.

Each one has an en-suite bathroom - accessible by a short boardwalk - with hot and cold running water, strong showers and flush toilets. Dressing room and upstairs chill-out deck.

Dine in the main mess banda on the beach and enjoy sundowners in the bar on the rocks at the end of the beach.
